BEAUTIFUL BARCELONA BLISS

Oh boy, did I enjoy Barcelona. The city in one word: vibrant. Clear blue skies, palm trees and tapas. The perfect recipe for a spring getaway. I even burned my nose a little when sitting on a bench sipping Sangria with my glasses on. Oops. Afterwards we took better care of our skin.
Sun in the springtime can be extra heavy dangerous because it doesn't feel as warm. Let's move on to the pictures. I hope you will feel inspired for spring!

Our plane was scheduled for departure at 8am so we had to be at Schiphol airport really really early....
The beautiful Barcelona Cathedral.
 Lovely streets...

This drink was absolutely delicious. Coconut water with peach mmm,..

Boats in the harbor made it really feel like a summer getaway.
We stayed in the Internacional Cool hotel on la Rambla. The perfect location.
 Fruit princess Mar.
 Happy granny
 La Sagrada Familia

I bought a beautiful table cloth at the beach. A lot of the sales man and women are pushy but this man was kind and he sold the most beautiful fabrics.
Gym at the beach. How cool! I want this in my neighborhood!
 Plaça Reial
My grandmother though the selfie stick was so funny :)
Barcelona is actually an excellent city to shop...
This inspired me to work with more colors in my instagram feed as well as in my cooking. Edible flowers, how awesome do they look?
 Palm trees make me smile
With grandma at a restaurant called Mi Burrito Y Yo. Do you know what that means? ;)
 Starbucks with mom

 Parc Güell

This man was making super large bubbles and the little girl had the time of her life. I stopped to look at the two of them.
Arco du Triunfo

Chocolates at la Boqueria. Do you see the panda's? SO cute!
 Thumbs up for Sangria!
Result of a small shopping spree!
 Orange tree.
This is still one of the best quotes. It's so powerful and perfect for Nike.
I really liked these sneakers. Maybe I'll try and find them in the Nike store in NYC...
 These green peppers were heavenly!
 I want them all!
 Selfie from our balcony.

We wouldn't be Dutch tourists if we didn't rent a bike and cycle through the city. Amazing activity to do and a cheap way to see a lot in a day... Have you visited Barcelona? What was the one thing you remember most?
