DIY MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE

Just a quick DIY I did today; Black on White Message Tealight Holder. I was at garden centre Tuinland with my mom today when I spotted this really cute white tealight holder with a message. The one that I liked said: XXX. 

But there was only 1 copy and I still had the whole store to go through so I put it back on the shelf. About halfway I figured I could make those myself easily. So I focused on finding two cute but plain white tealight holders.

Then I figured I needed some inspiration! Pinterest always does the trick :)

And eventually I decided not to work with pencils because a) it's hard to write on an round object and b) if I messed it up it would not come off easily. But eventually there was a c) the pencils didn't work nice because the holders were to smooth.

So I went through my artsy fartsy stuff and found alphabet stickers that I used to create these:

XOXO and MINE. I'm really happy with the result! Btw those little flowers were a real bargain. They're called Kalanchoe and they last forever.
