My favorite breakfast: overnight oats.

My go to overnight oats breakfast. It's so simple I didn't even think about sharing it. But since I'm really enjoying this breakfast (I have been eating it most mornings for about a year now!) I thought I'd give you guys this ordinary overnight oats recipe anyway. It is always optional to leave ingredients out and add different fruits and condiments that you like. This is why I think overnight oats are really for everyone because you can personalize it till it's your own. I of course have to add my favorite fruit, raspberries.

I am a creature of habit (aren't we all?) so I mostly stick to the same ingredients every morning. But every once in a while, when I run out of apples or someone (boyfriend!) took the last spoon of all natural 100% peanut butter, I have to get a little creative. Below you can read my go to recipe.

1 apple cut into small pieces
200 ml plantbased yogurt or milk
40 grams of oats
a teaspoon of peanut butter
a pinch of cinnamon
a handful of raspberries

Put the yogurt/milk and your oats in a bowl and warm them in the microwave or in a pan on the stove for about two minutes. Let it cool for a little bit before you stir the apple, peanut butter and cinnamon in your bowl. Lastly add raspberries on top. Not only because it looks pink and cute but because it's super tasty and gives a little bit of oomph to your oats as well. Put it in the fridge for the next morning or eat it rightaway.

There you have it! A healthy and tasty vegan go to overnight oats. That is a mouthful ;-). All the ingredients are super good for your body. I like to keep mine completely vegan. The best way to start my day. Hope you enjoy it!
